No food for Christmas

Wed Dec 26, 2007, 9:39 AM
For the past 3.4 years working for old slavery during the Christmas holidays, the company always provided for the food. Days has passed closer to Christmas eve with no food in our breakroom, and kept wondering about it. On Christmas Eve, I expect food to arrive only to find out that there was no food to be order for us employees. Many of us were counting on getting feed, inculding myself since I skipped breakfast. We got shit to eat for the Christmas holidays, never has any employer I worked for deny food for its employees. This shit was a new low, this is by far the worse Christmas I ever experienced at old slavery. Now I hate thinking about going to work for this company.. its a new hate I have for this job.

++ my Christmas presents were a new USB game controller - $10 gift card to Best Buy - The Simpsons movie on DVD - coupons for free doughnuts - a box of Fruity Pebbles

:rage: barney! my pebbles

Had a super Christmas with my family, traveling down there was terrible since I seen so many countless car accidents. I wonder what their big rush was aboot? Well our family last name is Christmas and we certainly celebrated it to the fullest. Towards end the day we had a huge dinner, a Christmas fest as no other. :-o

Thanks for reading

PS: how about telling me what you got for Christmas :)

:omfg: a digi cam and snowboard? :( .... you got snow? We got rain and more rain

Merry Christmas b00-berry, to you and kibbles n bits :XD:

:XD: hahaha I'm not saying that jobs are feeding us daily, its call a Christmas party where drinks and food are shared. I worked in the food industry myself before and I don't think Christmas parties exist in that field. No I don't mean little snacks but whole meals with meat and bread and soft drinks. I had indigestion just thinking aboot not getting Christmas dinner.

so now you know :)

 what up dude?! Merry belated Christmas to you :highfive: That's interesting that you got a blender, now you can make fresh OJ :lolly:

:laughing: oh my goodness, how are you doing with your ankle lately? I'm sorta wonder why someone would offer you a stakeboard deck when you are injuried. But its something to look forward to, rite? To motivate your body to heal faster in order to enjoy your gift.

fresh oj in a blender? don't you need a juicer for that? im gonna be making smoothies alla the time, fruit smoothies, desert smoothies, milkshakes anything lol,

my ankle is a lot better, i've slowly been putting weight onto it while its in the cast, and the deck is definately somethig to look forward to, if i do ever choose to skate properly again, its all a gamble really,

hoping you're gonna have a good new years man!

:iconreal-mahan2010:
lmao! :XD: yes you need a juicer for that, I got those 2 mixed up. Oh I see you can make smoothies but I was thinking more of chocolate milkshakes

Alrite, its great to hear that you are healing but it must suck being injuried during the Christmas season. Did you injury it by stakeboard it? I can relate the fear of not attempting the skate, but that's what makes it exciting :D Unfortunately that prevented me from jumping into a skate again.

Doing well and you have a great new year as well. :handshake:

.. .. . :O_o: .. .. .. well ... if I stayed in Canada and seen this <no Christmas party and food> .. I would highly surprised. And not to mention disappointing as well.

:D oh wow you digi camera is cool, way better than mine for sure :D 8megapixels with a 4x optical zoom  not bad for starts. Optical zoom is a feature that makes whatever you are trying to catch a little closer. But the thing aboot it is that the image might be as clearer and not to mention that you'll lose stability = blurry photos as a result. But don't fret since your digi cam has a stabilizer, so it will be less blurry.

<<<<it would be better if you step closer to the object(s) so that way you can use all the megapixels>>>>

haha 1 gig ... you'll have plenty of room for all your photos. You can save those photos on a CD and store them in a safe place. That's what I do with my photos.

did you get all of that?
